Welcome to Ink Appropriate — home of cards you probably shouldn't put in writing, but here we are.
These Terms of Service apply when you use our website or place an order with Ink Appropriate. By placing an order, you agree to these terms.
ABOUT US
Ink Appropriate sells greeting cards and related products online.
If you need to contact us about an order, product or anything else, email us at inkappropriate@yahoo.com.
ORDERS
When you place an order, you'll receive confirmation using the contact details you provide.
Please check your order carefully before submitting it. You're responsible for making sure the information you provide — including your delivery address and any personalisation details — is correct.
If you realise you've made a mistake, contact us as quickly as possible at inkappropriate@yahoo.com. We'll do our best to help, but if your order has already been processed or dispatched, we may not be able to change it.
We reserve the right to cancel or refuse an order where reasonably necessary, including where a product has been listed with an obvious pricing or description error, payment cannot be authorised, or we're unable to fulfil the order. If we've already taken payment for an order we cancel, you'll receive a refund.
PRICES & PAYMENT
All prices are displayed in GBP (£) unless otherwise stated.
The total cost of your order, including any applicable delivery charges, will be shown before you complete your purchase.
Payment must be successfully authorised before an order can be processed.
PRODUCTS
We've done our best to display our products as accurately as possible.
Colours can look slightly different depending on your screen settings and device, so what you see on screen may vary slightly from the physical product.
Small variations in printing, positioning or finish may also occur. That's the charming reality of physical products rather than evidence we've been drinking on the job.
Nothing in these terms affects your legal rights where goods are faulty, damaged or not as described.
PERSONALISED PRODUCTS
Where personalisation is available, you're responsible for checking names, dates, wording, spelling and other information you submit.
Please check it properly. Then check it again. We've all seen what autocorrect is capable of.
Once production of a personalised item has begun, we may not be able to change or cancel it.
Personalised or custom-made products don't normally qualify for change-of-mind cancellation rights, but this doesn't affect your rights if the product is faulty, damaged or isn't what you ordered.
DELIVERY
Delivery options, charges and estimated timescales are displayed on our website and/or during checkout.
We'll dispatch orders to the address supplied when you place your order, so please make sure it's correct.
Estimated delivery dates are estimates rather than guarantees where delays are outside our reasonable control. Your statutory rights regarding delivery are unaffected.
RETURNS, CANCELLATIONS & REFUNDS
Your cancellation and return rights are explained in our Return & Refund Policy, which forms part of these terms.
Nothing in these terms or our Returns & Refund Policy limits your statutory rights.
INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
Unless otherwise stated, the designs, artwork, branding, logos, written content and other original material appearing on this website are owned by or licensed to Ink Appropriate.
You may browse, purchase and share links to our products for personal use.
You may not reproduce, copy, sell, commercially exploit or use our original designs, artwork or branding without permission.
Basically: admire it, buy it, send it to your mate. Just don't nick it and pretend you made it.
WEBSITE USE
You must not knowingly misuse our website, attempt to interfere with its operation, introduce malicious software, attempt unauthorised access, or use it for unlawful purposes.
Normal internet behaviour, please.
LIABILITY
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability where doing so would be unlawful, including liability that cannot legally be excluded under UK consumer law.
We're not responsible for losses that weren't reasonably foreseeable when the contract was formed, except where the law says otherwise.
If you're purchasing as a consumer, these terms don't affect your statutory rights.
PRIVACY
How we collect and use personal information is explained in our Privacy Policy.
CHANGES TO THESE TERMS
We may update these terms from time to time, for example if our products, services or legal obligations change.
The terms applying to your purchase will be those in effect when you place your order.
GOVERNING LAW
These terms are governed by the applicable laws of the United Kingdom. Nothing in this section deprives you of any mandatory consumer protections or rights you have under the law applicable to you.
